Mike Stainbank, founder of The Apartheid Museum, is the only person I know who was sentenced by a judge to prison term but no one has the guts to arrest him. He has written countless sworn affidavits implicating prominent politicians and judges in corruption but none dares to sue

"Ours is a democracy in appearance... In reality it is a corporatocracy - a world ruled by corpoprate interests. In this farcical democracy, the contest is never of ideas. It is the contest of money and what money can buy, including votes" Excerpt: Shining the Searchlight Inwards

Down memory lane... June 16, 1976: I was one of the initiates in the Drakensberg mountains in northern Transvaal (Limpopo). Even there, the news of Soweto on fire reached us. Silently I vowed one day I'd avenge the massacre of Soweto students. Two years later I left SA for exile.

WHERE ARE THEY? A friend from Darfur, who I met in Juba a few years ago, told me of silent ethnic cleansing in that part of the world. He said nearly 100% of the people of Darfur want to be part of South Sudan. We used to communicate but now I wonder if he's surviving violence.

A 48-year-old nurse is behind bars for allegedly murdering her 21-year-old domestic worker for R6 million in life insurance. Human life is priceless. Yet some people find it easy to spill blood for money. This happens in the country that preaches botho/ubuntu to the world.

The PAC strongly condemns the killing of civilians in Kenya. We call for immediate action to protect innocent lives and uphold human rights. The killing of peaceful protesters by police, under the orders of unpatriotic regimes, is a grave violation of human rights. Condolences!

WHERE ARE THEY? Mbuyisa Makhubo was reportedly last seen in the streets of Lagos in the late 1970s. According to the PAC cadres who were in Nigeria at the time, Makhubo suffered from mental illness. He was rumoured to have fallen victim to ritual killing, which was rife in Lagos.
