🧵 Young creatives often ask me how I land the projects and brands I work with and my answer is simple: create *personal* work that would attract the brands you want to work with. 3 years ago, I didn't have a 3D/CG portfolio. I was working in identity, branding and packaging.

Oops i'm about six months late to celebrate that i've been working independently (and paying for my own health insurance) for 10 years (and 7 years with our studio Wade and Leta!). Grateful to have found the best job I could ever ask for.

The Wade and Leta Wassily chair (designed by Marcel Breuer) has been in my possession for over a decade. While I love the original design, I wanted to give it my own personal touch. Each strap has been hand cut from a polyurethane leather & assembled as patchwork compositions

Unlike our Wade and Leta website I like to keep letasobierajski.com as an archive of my career showing everything from brands-websites-sculptural pursuits. It's fun to see how a studio/individual has progressed in their practice & my site embodies my evolution as a creative

I cannot emphasize this enough. Creatives, write good contracts and make sure that you can protect yourself and your intellectual property! It doesn't matter who the contract is for, just get into the good habit of doing it!
