Today, I was notified on my Kindle that a book I had been waiting on had arrived. That book was Naruto Volume 1. Because it is anime April, I decided to give a quick thought to the first book, which is considered a classic amongst anime fans.

Now, for those not in the know, I’ve never seen Naruto or read the manga. I know Naruto is blonde; everyone hates Sakura, and he is a ninja. Jumping into this book was fascinating because things like “Why does Naruto have whiskers?” were answered within the first few pages.

. Overall, I enjoyed the manga; it was a quick read and an enjoyable story. I have the second book on hold to come to my Kindle as soon as possible. Shout out to the ShreveMemorial Library for having manga available through Libby to help a weeb trying to save money
