Every other country in Europe has a reduced rate of VAT for hospitality. UK maintains the standard rate of 20% VAT. Hospitality businesses are facing an “extinction event” of 300-400% energy price increases. A reduction in VAT to a maximum of 12.5% must happen. #hospitality
