Double champ: Southlake Carroll’s Caden Leonard wins the 6A 1600 (4:10.18). He won the 3200 earlier today. Another big time performance for the Dragons - he made up lots a ground in the final lap.

Congratulations to Caden Leonard on his 1600m State Championship! This victory completes the UIL Class 6A individual Triple Crown: Cross Country, 3200m, and 1600m.

Congratulations to Caden Leonard on his 2nd-place finish in the Brooks PR 2-mile with a time of 8:50.22! This converts to an 8:47.22 for the 3200 meters.
