J.K. Rowling I agree. Cheating erodes the foundation of trust upon which society is built. As Aristotle said, "The end does not justify the means." Celebrating deceit undermines the integrity that holds us together.
Molly Kingsley The late great journalist (remember them?) John Pilger said in war there are ‘the worthy dead’ and we hear of their deaths, their names etc. Then there are ‘the unworthy dead’ who are never acknowledged or shunned even as they ‘embarrass’ and expose the hypocrisy of ‘The Cause’.
Molly Kingsley Many of us can't move on and we are unlikely to ever do so given the added trauma that's been added to our horrific experience by being denied, labelled, censored and abused in many cases by the very politicians government officials and MSM who asked us to do the right thing.
Mark’s approach to tackling America’s chronic disease crisis is to make drugs cheaper. While this might boost demand and incentivize Big Pharma to increase volume to maintain profits, it doesn't come close to addressing the root cause of the problem. It's just running in circles.
The Senedd grant is 13% higher in Wales per capita than in England. Educational attainment is the lowest in the UK. The Welsh NHS is an embarrassment. Wales deserves so much more than nannying, a perpetual historical pity party and an ever growing state. telegraph.co.uk/money/tax/holi…
