We lost a TV giant today with the passing of Phil Donahue. My first TV job was as a newsman in Dayton Ohio. Phil had a local talk show at our station. No band. No sidekick. Just intelligent talk. One topic. One hour. That was revolutionary back then. RIP Phil.
