Need a new feature where tweeting “Joe Rogan of the left” causes your phone to deliver a non-lethal but temporarily debilitating shock

guy operated a website where hitmen were available for hire and the worst kind of life-destroying drugs could be bought. not exactly my idea of someone deserving of 300 Bitcoin.

Very possible, but Elon literally called Trump a pedophile purposefully suppressing the Jeffery Epstein files to save himself in what is likely an impeachable act. For Elon to befriend him again, he’s essentially saying he either was lying or that he’s willing to overlook that.

The fact that until today, Musk not only followed but subscribed to "Catturd" is a very useful datapoint for the downward informational spiral this whole crew was on

I just got off the phone with President Trump. He told me he's "not even thinking about Elon. He's got a problem. The poor guy’s got a problem."

This is just a flat-out lie. But Theo Von doesn't know where this phony statistic comes from, so he can't challenge Vance. And lots of Von's listeners are going to assume - mistakenly - that the vice president of the U.S. is not lying to them, when that's exactly what he's doing.

I like how every time there’s a major protest someone has to get pilloried for making this objectively correct and obvious point. It’s just a fact that setting shit on fire isn’t a politically effective protest tactic. You can not care about that, but don’t pretend it isn’t true

people should calibrate their actions with this in mind: “would this provide good attack ad material?” if the answer is yes, you probably should reassess strategy.

this notion that the civil rights movement was just a bunch of wild eyed idealists who didn’t think about tactics or strategy at all is just so infantilizing and lazy
