Aquí el razonamiento: El "patrón de helecho" se aprecia al microscopio en el moco cervical. La cristalización sucede por cambios en el nivel de estrógenos durante el ciclo de ovulación. Yo lo veo tan bonito como el diseño honeysuckle de Jane Morris o las láminas de Anna Atkins.
