Do not be paralyzed by the fear of failure.

When you’re first starting out, it’s common to want to get things done fast. As you gain experience, you put higher value in getting things done right. And with refinement you learn how to get things done efficiently, so you deliver both on speed AND quality.

Be careful not to confuse your reasons with your excuses.

Don’t focus too much on starting. Just start. Then focus on the doing. And never ever focus on finishing. It’s a future that you’ll only arrive to in the act of doing - action is the act that deserves your attention.

You might think you need clarity, answers, and insights to get started on your creative work; in reality all of this will come to you as you do the work.

If your goals are destinations, consider what activities you’re partaking in to assure your taking steps towards them. Thinking about goals without taking action - even the smallest of actions - will rarely get you there.

You don’t fear failure. You fear judgement.
