Whit Friday 2025 is nearly here! As always all contests are dependent on the hard-work and dedication of committee members, volunteers and people showing up with a bit of change for a collection bucket on the night - Please support however you can. 🎶🎵

This year the Lees and Springhead contest are going to be giving out a ‘spot prize’, simply sign in between 8pm and 9pm to be entered into the random draw with a chance of winning £100 cash. More information will be available from the signing-in desk on the night. 🎼🎺

Happy Whit Friday!! We are looking forward to welcoming bands and spectators from far and wide to Lees and Springhead. Safe travels to everyone and see you all for the greatest free show on earth! 🎼🎺

Bandstand ready… See you from 4pm 🎶🎵🎺

What a start! There are 13 bands raring to go in Lees! Hope everyone has the best evening and good luck to all the bands and fellow contests. What a tradition to be a part of. 🎼🎺

Near enough straight on in Lees… the crowd will give you the warmest welcome!

Spot Prize starts now!!! Any band that signs in for the next hour (8pm-9pm) will be put into a draw for £100!! The high street is packed with people who would love to hear you too!

Less than an hour to sign in here… the crowd is still full and awaiting the beautiful sound of brass!
