I was born with Spina Bifida. It doesn’t define me but is part of who I am. Growing up, I needed to see people like me. There weren’t many on the telly - but there was Tanni Grey-Thompson - she gave me hope. Because she didn’t stay at home - I saw that I didn’t need to stay at home either.
