A while ago, I was searching for the 1st magician in Canada, and records point to Maginnis in 1875. Canada's Magic, David Acer, Bill Mullins, Joe Culpepper - Plot twist: It's Maginnis, but the magic happened in Aug 1794! Found an intriguing clipping from the Montreal Gazette.
