After several attempts, I had to remove my previous version of XCode and reboot before the app store would allow me to successfully download 11.1. I could have saved time by just going to the link below.

A video on how to use GitHub with Xcode. This helped me get my first #100DaysOfSwiftUI Day 17 project (WeSplit) on GitHub. I know there's more to learn about GitHub, but this was easy to follow. youtube.com/watch?v=2v6LQz…

Hey folks, I'm falling behind but that's OK. I completed Day 18 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI and really enjoyed the process. Solidified the importance of closures and how State works. Will do my best to squeeze in Day 19 this evening. I hope you're all having fun!

Day 19 of #100DaysOfSwift completed. I did try to complete the extended challenge -- which conceptually wasn't that much more difficult -- but kept getting an error that Xcode was taking too long to compile! So, I gave up. youtu.be/KSSll361kyA

#100DaysOfSwift Day 20 completed. Looks like I'm more or less, back on track. Today we covered stacks, buttons, images, colors, and alerts. The gradients really look beautiful on the phone.

#100DaysOfSwiftUI Days 21 & 22 completed. Completed the flag game as well as the associated challenges. It's great how we no longer have to deal with constraints! youtu.be/6j7xdob8mj8

#100DaysOfSwiftUI Day 23 completed. Now onto the Day 24 challenges! Having fun with view composition and custom modifiers. 😍

#100DaysOfSwiftUI Day 24 completed. This took me more time because I wanted to carefully review Day 23. Yeah, I'm way slower than most of you but I'm still enjoying the ride! I hope everybody else is having fun!

Day 26 of the #100DaysOfSwiftUI is out now, starting a new app project powered by Core ML: hackingwithswift.com/100/swiftui/26 (Pay careful note to what I say at the end of that page: if you're tired, take a break; you won't learn much if you're stressed.)

#100DaysOfSwiftUI Day 25 challenge completed. Used the system icons and decided to not show the one that would result in a draw. In hindsight, I think I could have simplified the logic/code but that's for another day perhaps. youtu.be/cq25lhBmxLQ

#100DaysOfSwift Day 26 completed. We looked at Dates, DatePicker and Stepper and ventured into the mysterious world that is Create ML. This should be a very interesting project indeed! 😀

#100DaysOfSwift Day 27 completed. A cool project using datepicker and Create ML. I'm looking forwards to reading more about machine learning! Oh well, I'll give Day 28 a shot -- wish me luck!

I'm glad this feature was finally rolled out. Using the Apple remote as a controller is literally painful to use. And I didn't want to purchase something like a SteelSeries Nimbus to play games on Apple TV.

#100DaysOfSwiftUI - Day 28 completed. I got stuck on the last challenge even though the answer was fairly obvious and something that we had covered before. Anyway, things are still proceeding slowly for me but am nonetheless happy with my eureka moment!

#100DaysOfSwift - Days 29 & 30 completed. A little bit tired now but it is starting to all come together. Yesterday, I did try to use .onAppear in the Day 28 challenge but wasn't successful. Nice to see that it was covered in Day 30.

#100DaysOfSwiftUI Day 31 complete! I'm enjoying the journey and learning a lot. Hopefully, I did the "challenges" correctly.

#100DaysOfSwiftUI - Day 32 completed. Started working with animations. I particularly like how we can make a simple button react to touch in a pleasing way. It's those little UI experiences that make apps fun to use.
