A8: Rob Hogg Some hope that legislature might do something positive for soil health. We really should be doing more for renewable energy. Concensus around that has gone away. Flood recovery still an issue. Hazard mitigation should be central to what is done as well.

A9: Senator Taylor This is a tricky one because some people want to reduce barriers for licensing. How might this affect teaching? To repair an elevator, you need to know electronics and hydraulics. Very specialized skill set. What are consequences of removing those barriers?

A9: Tracy Ehlert Safety issue a major concern. In child care, we have had 8 children die. Can't compare safety in cosmotology and child care, for example.

A9: Molly Donahue Would like to see cost for licensing decreased. Very concerned about lowering licensing for teachers. We need to raise our standards in education.

A9: Kirsten Marquardt Way this is framed is a gentleman wants a mobile barber shop. It is fair and reasonable to make changes that allow people to do what they want to do, but not cheapen quality of profession or other professions. Majority is making him poster child for overregulation

A9: Senator Liz Bennett One bill in particular following bill SF3088 would eliminate the board of sign language interpreters and licensing requirements. Do you want to play telephone between professional you see? Things called barriers are merely requirements to do job effectively.

A10: State Rep Art Staed This bill would prevent local govt from passing resolutions to NOT allow landlords to NOT rent to low income persons or people who receive housing assistance.

A10: Molly Donahue This bill adds to the fact that we have a tight affordable housing market. We need to put forth bills that help those that are vulnerable, not hurt them.

A11: State Rep Art Staed Not sure why the disclaimer is at the top, but perhaps in name of transparency. Person asking for nomination must fill out name and contact information at the top.

A11 Kirsten Marquardt We had a great time at my caucus and had great discussions. Hopes this experience is still here for generations to come. We did a good job. Reporting barriers (app, spam callers) got in way of results. If move to primary, we won't be first.

A11 Molly Donahue Huge shout out to all who ran local caucus sites. Most of precincts went very well. We need to make it possible for more people to participate.

A12: Senator Liz Bennett Has done some research on cybersecurity. Would hope there is a standard of best practices if you are a legislator that is exercising oversite. That is moving target. Has some questions about that. Funding often an issue. At beginning of transition.
