Lead pollution affects children the most. They pick up lead dust when they are playing. We call on Government to quickly get rid of the source of the contamination at black mountain in Kabwe. We also call for the complete stop of new mining activities. #LeadFreeKabwe

The right to play is a fundamental human right which is recognised in article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The realization of this right is dependent on the environment and the children of Kabwe continue to play in lead contaminated play spaces.
