One problem with trying to coin new phrases for a scifi book is that they sound weird, lol. We mostly all know what 'like a duck to water' means. Trying to couch that in scifi terms will sound like...what? Like an electrician to a battery? Like a spaceship to vaccum? 🤦‍♀️
