Farm daze…

This is disgusting. It's infuriating. And it's dangerous. Nazis and the hateful antisemitism and racism they try to spread have no place in our nation. The people in positions of power enabling them don't either. We must always condemn hatred wherever it arises.

My child, who we will refer to as Dr. Jekyll, walks off the bus every day at 3:30 pm. I hand her a snack and wait. 10 minutes later, the same child, who we will now refer to as Ms. Hyde, smiles and tells me what a fantastic day she had. Every day, the same routine. #hangry

Losing your sense of smell is wild. I am stressed about it. Meanwhile, my child excitedly asked me if that means I can skip showers from now on since I can’t smell myself. 🤔 I think I did something wrong there…

I try not to work on the weekends too often, but my goodness - I am 1000% more productive without meetings and Slacks in the background. I think I just did produced two days worth of work.

Once again sitting here feeling completely helpless. WHY is this still an issue? Why are we not addressing the real issues... yes, mental health plays a part but IT'S THE GUNS.

Finally spoke to someone Lowe's who promised a new fridge would arrive today. Waited all morning. The driver calls after the delivery window to tell me he cannot deliver today and to reschedule. No one picks up the phone at the fulfillment center, the wait time for CS is 1hr +.

delivery from Lowe's finally shows up after going to the warehouse to get tools to install. Now they say they don’t have the tools to remove the broken fridge?! End up claiming it’s too slippery (from rain) to deliver and they will be back tomorrow. But will they?!

Daily Lowe's update. New delivery never scheduled. No one picks up at the fulfillment center. Wait time for main CS line is currently 3-4 hours. I just want a working fridge!!!

As we end our Lowe's saga (HOPEFULLY), new fridge arrived finally and it was dented out of the box. The delivery driver, once again, tried to convince us to keep the fridge that was seriously damaged. Not sure why these guys want to show up and fight the return. Never again.
