It was a great privilege to meet with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints leaders and tour the Tabernacle last week in Salt Lake City. The Church makes enormous humanitarian contributions across the 🇺🇸 and 🌏 - including Australia where in pre-pandemic times they send hundreds of missionaries a year

On Wednesday (4/27), Amb. Rosan P Roeslani visited the Washington D.C. LDS Temple that was finally opened for public for the second time since 1974, after a major renovation took place in 2018-2020.
During the VIP tour, the Ambassador Rosan P Roeslani had the chance to walk through the interior of the building and the beautiful tulip garden.
“Especially in today’s America, it’s so hugely important to try to understand your neighbor... and if we just make that effort, we’ll bring the country to a better place.” - Jeffrey Goldberg, EIC of The Atlantic, said during his visit to the #DCTemple Open House.
I was grateful to meet with Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi (Filipe Jacinto Nyusi) and discuss the Church of Jesus Christ’s focus on developing education and humanitarian opportunities that bless the lives of individuals in this wonderful country. We are grateful for this partnership.
