Have a 2018 Honda CR-V. 60,000 miles. Every light on dash is on. Need 4 new fuel injectors. Injectors on national back order. Dealer will “good will” repair cost- great! But no loaner or rental reimbursement. Already a month in with an undriveable car! Honda Automobile Customer Service do better!!!

ACPS has broken yet another promise to its educators. Remember when the School Board announced its intention to work w/the AEA on a collective bargaining agreement to bring historic protections to this county's school staff? Today, we know these were empty words from the Board.

After months of mtgs btwn the AEA and the School Board, we STILL do not have a collective bargaining resolution. This fall, we should be preparing for an election of a negotiating agent & setting priorities for our first protected contract like our colleagues in Charlottesville.

Instead, we are fighting for the mere right to have a contract. We are deeply frustrated & disappointed, but we won't stop fighting for rights we know we deserve. Spread the word & share this post - Albemarle educators deserve collective bargaining. No more #ACPSBrokenPromises.

The Albemarle Education Association has worked for more than two years, trying to win collective bargaining rights. The school board has publicly questioned our integrity and apparently privately unanimously agreed NOT to compromise with us on a resolution. They lied.
