Thanks to 20 volunteers who removed one mile of barbed wire fencing at Elk Meadow in Evergreen to protect elk, deer, & other wildlife. The project is led by Wild Aware with Jeffco Open Space Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). Studies show barbed wire is harmful to wildlife and disrupts migration.🦌
