In Erinnerung an Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Lauer (1923-2007), Bonner Geograph und Klimatologe, finden jährlich am Geogr. Institut der Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn die 'Lauer-Lectures' statt. Zu seinem 100. Geburtstag stand dieses Jahr das Thema 'Klima- und Hochgebirgsforschung im Wandel' im Mittelpunkt.

Today we welcomed Professor Mario Cordova and his Master's students in Hydrology/Ecohydrology iDRHICA from the University of Cuenca UCuenca in Ecuador to our group. This visit was part of the DAAD News programme 'Study Visits for Groups of Foreign Students to Germany'.

We are excited to share our first crop-type maps for Siaya, #Kenya, at dlr's touch table during the World Space Forum in Bonn. The Map is based on #EnMAP imagery & data from Kenyan smallholder farmers, collected by Team AgriBora. Expanding to western Kenya soon!
