Finally finished #TheBear Season 4. Definitely better than Season 3, and some of it is more palatable than chunks of first and second seasons as well. Compelling character breakthroughs. Wedding episode mostly successful. Finale episode not great but clearly sets-up Season 5 arc.

Lowest-grossing #Conjuring installment was 2021's "Devil Made Me Do It" ($65.6M), which debuted same day on HBO Max. Highest-grossing was the original #TheConjuring with $137.5M in 2013. WB is hoping #LastRites continues the studio's hot streak with a strong kickoff to September.

#Wednesday creators working on new #TheAddamsFamily animated feature, which is a reboot and not connected to the recent animated films, according to Deadline. 2019 one did about $100M. 2021 sequel made $57M but also debuted same day on VOD. Hope this new movie has a darker tone.

#Nobody2 is a very basic, by the numbers sequel. The manic, comedic ultraviolence is monotonous. Nothing new to say about the work / family life balance. Sharon Stone plays a cartoony villain but she’s barely in it. Big band music and a few classic tunes kept me from dozing off.

#TheRunningMan pushed back a week from Nov. 7 (when it would've faced opening weekend of #PredatorBadlands) to Nov. 14, as of now joining #NowYouSeeMe3, #Eternity and #Keeper. November is crowded: #WickedForGood #Zootopia2 #Sisu2 and several others. Should a big box office month.

#Nobody2 early estimate from Deadline is a $9.25M weekend. That's ahead of first film's $6.8M debut but will sequel get to original's $27.6M total? It might be close. #Weapons and #FreakierFriday will place 1st and 2nd again. #TheBadGuys2 only off a bit from "BG1" at same point.

#TheRoses will be Searchlight’s first theatrical release since #ACompleteUnknown on Christmas Day. The studio also has #RentalFamily with Brendan Fraser set for Nov. 21. Bradley Cooper’s #IsThisThingOn? doesn’t have an official date yet but should be before the end of the year.

#Superman is now WB’s 9th biggest film ever in North America (not adjusted for inflation). Four films on this Top 10 list were released over the past three and a half years. A sequel’s gotta come out by Summer 2028. The Numbers

While talking with Paul Walter Hauser in March about "The Luckiest Man in America" he also brought up his role in #Americana (now playing): "That was another one where... oh this guy's kinda quirky and awkward, but I love that there's a great emotionality and a depth to him too."

How big will #KPopDemonHunters be in theaters next weekend? Will Netflix actually report its box office? One thing's for sure: it's a LOCK for a Best Animated Feature #Oscars nomination. Its biggest competition for the win is probably #Zootopia2, with several others also in play.

Just screened #TheThursdayMurderClub (select theaters Friday; on Netflix Aug. 28). A surprising lack of energy. Overly complex and talky script, with too many characters, just isn't very exciting. Only chuckled a couple times. Wish it was fun and immersive, not flat and monotone.
