On 2/1 Bulldogs Invitationals is where Eric D. ran 9:21.94 in the 3200m. Caleb M. ran 7.82 55mh, both braking school records. Girls 4x200 of Jillian H, Ratie J, Karleigh B, and Morgan W. ran a season best. Kaleigh B. ran a SB 55m dash. Quinton J. ran SB in the 300m. Go Cavs!!

A new Boys 4x800 School Record was made on 2/22/2025 at VHSL Region 3D Championship coming in at 8:47.90. 4x800 relay: John M. Lucas C. Ethan T. Eric D. Kamden U. 4x200 relay: Grant H. Quinten J. Caleb M. Triston G. Daniel E. Go Cavs!!!

What a way to end the Indoor regular season. Multiple SB (season best), PR (personal records) and broken School Records. Great job Cavs!!! LBHS Outdoor season starts tomorrow 2/24/25 4p. Don’t wish for it, work for it.

JUST IN: The Boys 4x800 school record has just been broken by 13 seconds. Ethan T, Eric D, Lucas C and John M ran a time of 8:33.67 at VHSL Class 3 States Championship. Well done!!!

To wrap up day 1 of VHSL Class 3 Championship, Triston G & Caleb M will be moving on to day 2 for the Boys 55mh Finals. Well done!!!

On 9/29/25, both Boys and Girls 4x100 traveled to compete in Wampler’s Insurance Abingdon Invitational where they were able to stamp their ticket for 2025 Penn Relays. Outdoor Season has finally began LETS GO CAVS!!!

LB Home Meet #1 was held on 4/9. Triston G. ran state qualifying times in the 100m & 200m while Jillian H. qualified for girls 100mh. Eric D won boys 3200m & Preston V won the 1600. LB Boys finished 1st place with 128pts, Girls finishing in 3rd place scoring 70 pts. GO CAVS!!!

As of 4/12/2025 and only 2 meets in for the outdoor season, the Cavs are already making waves. Don’t wish for it, work for it!! Go Cavs!!

The 1st Annual Blue & Gold HS Track Classic was held on 4/19. Emory & Henry’s new outdoor facility, nice weather and great competition. The team came home with medals in almost every event, athletes PRd across the board and another state qualifying event. Go Cavs!!!

On 6/6-6/7, athletes competed in the VHSL Class 3 State Championship. Great performance Morgan W. Jillian H. Ratie J. Analise B. Triston G. Eric D. Caleb M. the Boys 4x8 (Kamden, Joel, Lucas, Eric). Congrats to Caleb 110mh 4th place finish and Eric 3rd place finish in the 2 mile.

Preseason training has officially began. It is not too late to join. Meet the team and coaches on the track near the field house on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm to start training for a successful indoor season.
