During last weekend’s Home Show, I came across a booth featuring beautifully handcrafted candles made by a talented young lady named Desire, supported by her family. She creates each candle with passion and purpose, donating the proceeds to support children across Africa.

Today we recognize the dedication and contributions of all the amazing moms and mother figures. Thank you for your care, support, and the many ways you make a difference. Your efforts are valued — today and every day.

As part of #NationalPoliceWeek, we hosted City of Maple Ridge staff from other departments to give them an inside look at our services. Staff enjoyed learning about our operations and some of the tools and resources employed by our officers and staff. Thanks to all who attended.
