Nothing quite like some hills for breakfast! What a great morning on KU’s gorgeous campus. The light fog, the symbolic Campanile, and of course the new Memorial Stadium. The kids crushed their reps. 2 weeks out from Manhattan!

What a stellar 2nd week of XC! Had our Jamboree where the kids did a fun clothing-swap relay, we held our 3rd Chesty’s Run-A-Thon fundraiser, and then concluded with a breakfast potluck! Great things are coming from this team and we are so excited! #teamfirst #chestyculture 🦁💪

Quick detour for dinner in Des Moines. Woke up and finished the extrusion to Minnesota and, of course, hit up Mall of America (where dreams come true)! Pre-meet on the course (no initial photos due to the torrential downpour). Ready for dinner and some downtime! Race tomorrow!

Great experience at the Roy Griak Invite! While the course was tough & saturated from heavy rain, the teams competed admirably. Two Top-20 finishers! The girls pulled out 26th place in the Maroon race and the boys finished in 9th in the Gopher race. Great things to come! 💪🦁

Oh, and we can’t forget this guy’s birthday! Happiest of birthdays to the vivacious and bubbly personality that is Coach Kucza! Helping to keep this program pointed northward since 2022.

This group. Last night, we put the last period in the 2025 chapter of LHS XC. The season had it’s highs and lows. Hosted Regionals. Raced Roy Griak. Volunteered more. Qualified 2 to State. And had all but one kid finish the season (moved). We are ready and excited for 2026! 🦁💪
