Woww! What a PERFECT start 2 our Learning Retreat! Day 1 with ABC Elem was all about "Building Back Better" through a CULTURE of teamwork, collaboration, & communication. We laughed, we learned, but most importantly, we laid the foundation for a highly effective school culture!👩🏾‍🏫

Day 2 with ABC ELEM & we DREAMED BIG! Can you imagine what our DREAM school would look like for our students? Well, WE DID! 🤗 The brainstorming, the ideas, & the conversations were POWERFUL! Here's to DREAMING BIG for ALL of our students across this great state! #WatchUsWork

While in my hometown of Camden this morning, I paid a visit to the fourth, fifth and sixth graders at J.E. Hobbs Elementary. I told them they have the potential to make a mighty difference in the world — they just have to stay focused and keep working hard! #alpolitics

I rounded out my day in Wilcox County with a visit to ABC Elementary to deliver books to students and discuss the importance of learning. Boy, were they eager to open their books to get started reading! I couldn’t be prouder. #alpolitics
