📚 BREAKING: California is following Mississippi’s playbook on teaching kids to read. When California admits Mississippi got it right, you know the Magnolia State is doing something really big!

This is a really dramatic improvement. Any state that isn't using the same techniques to teach reading has to explain what they think they know that Mississippi doesn't.

It's worth noting that Mississippi made massive improvements in the lowest-performing groups with one of the smallest per-pupil expenditures in the nation.

Incredibly, Mississippi schools went from 50th to 7th in the entire nation! We went from back of the class to star pupil. Now, the entire country is looking to copy our homework on student success. Love to see it! 📚

If you think phonics alone explains the Mississippi Miracle, you’re missing the playbook. Mississippi led its own revival—and held the line for 12 years. The real story? A governor’s commitment shaped the outcomes. Mississippi GOP ExcelinEd The Atlantic Kimberly Ross Washington Examiner

My parents left Mississippi for better opportunities. Now, Mississippi’s leading in education, and Michigan’s education system is the punchline. When I’m Governor, we’ll focus on academic excellence through discipline, literacy, and empowering parents.

Ole Miss has built a top 10 football team — & Mississippi has built a top 10 reading program. In 2013, both states passed the same literacy reforms. MS stayed the course; OK reversed in 2016. The results speak for themselves. We can change that. ➡ bit.ly/4qmmD1Z
