Congrats to Neuqua for Blue Ribbon recognition. Out of 100k+ schools in the US, 356 got this status. Only 56 were HS & half these were select, or charter schools. Proud Neuqua achieved this while educating all students - not a select set!

Great experience subbing for Ms. Fay’s English classes at Waubonsie. Students were engaged in creating presentations based on short stories. Excellent students! Had a chance at break to meet hard working cafeteria personnel!

Fun start to the new year subbing at Peterson. Spent the day in kindergarten and 1st grade working with special kids. Totally impressed how polite the students were: Have never heard so many “thank you” comments. Lots of focus on learning to read. Very exciting!

Witnessed pure joy today at Kendall while on door duty: kids made snow angels as soon as they were outside. Subbed as a TA in K, 1, 3, 5 grades. K guessing game was fun: found by water, comes in diff shapes, and was a house…. (shells).

Finally more time for school activities: dog therapy, Bluestem Book Challenge, science fair, and subbing at Metea for AP Govt, and Ceramics classes. Govt classes had to interview a public official… I was a more than willing candidate. Great questions! Impressive artists also.
