A patient within the Adult Eating Disorder Service at Stobhill has engaged in 1:1 therapeutic activity through pottery painting. The activity helped to promote occupational balance, concentration and restfulness for the patient whilst also allowing them to get creative #OT #EDAW

An inpatient within the Adult Eating Disorder Service at Stobhill has engaged in 1:1 work with OT using the ‘PEACE’ Pathway Sensory Wellbeing Booklet to create a person-centred sensory box which will help tackle any feelings of anxiety or overstimulation on the ward #OTWeek2024

OT's Ailsa MacCallum from Gartnavel & Lauren Nolan from the Stobhill team successfully completed the PRPP System of Task Analysis Assessment Course in London last week. Both reported the course to be very positive & are excited to begin to implement this in practice.

As an OT that works with ED patients, I have to commend Amanda Lynch Amanda Lynch 🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸 for outlining to Irelands Taoiseach and ex-minister for health on the shortage of beds and neglect towards eating disorder services. Mental Health needs to be prioritised.
