Just to let you know that the last day you can place online orders (on my website and Etsy store) is 8th December. This is to allow me time to order in any stock and to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. After this date, my online stores will be going into holiday mode.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you’re enjoying a bit of downtime now. I just wanted to thank you all for your continued support over the last year, or even longer. It’s lovely to read all of the nice comments and to see my art being shared. I’m very lucky!

This is the lovely Willow. She was commissioned as a surprise Christmas gift for Willow’s mum and dad. I loved painting that characterful little face! I made the decision to keep the background relatively simple in order to make her really stand out.

Here we have another of December’s commissions. This one is St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. Isn’t it stunning? I used the customer’s reference photo for this one, and I have to say it was a great choice. Just look at those reflections!

My friend wanted a special Christmas gift for her dad, as her lovely mum had very sadly passed away earlier in the year. She had a very clear idea of what she wanted the painting to be - the crocus carpet at Wallington Hall, with her mum and dad gazing at the flowers.

Earlier this week I said goodbye to the very last of my Seaham Beach prints. This was one of the first designs I released all those years ago, so I do feel a bit sad that the last one has gone to its forever home. Which locations would you like to see me paint this year?

Popped over to Chapter House on Sunday to refresh my window display. Unfortunately my photos aren’t great as the sun was shining (not that I’m complaining!). I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to use this space in a beautiful building (it’s where Keel Row Books used to be).
