Meet Keyser Keeper, a recent graduate from Eenchokay Birchstick School in #Pikangikum, a remote Ojibway community in NW Ontario. Keyser’s parents, Ross & Geraldine, travelled by boat & car to bring Keyser to the airport for his 2nd last leg of the journey to Chelsea, Quebec.

One of the many awesome things about Keyser is that he’s fluent in his #Ojibway #language along with his parents. How cool is that? We’re proud of Keyser and happy he’s participating in Sergei de Jonge’s #Guitar-Making #Residency.

Our first residency for Indigenous Youth living in remote communities is a 5-week #Guitar-Making Residency under the mentorship of Sergei de Jonge. This residency is funded by Indspire River to Success Program & William-Grit Laskin. #ArtscanCircle #Indspire #luthier
