A brilliant first day back for our children. The day started with a welcome assembly from Mrs Lang who shared the story, The Rainbow Flamingo by Catherine Emmett. The children were excellent at reflecting on the feelings in the story and the overall message 🪶 🦩❤️

In assembly this week, Miss Slough and Liz Slough introduced our music hero this half term-Elton John! What a way to start the year 🙌🏼 we look forward to hearing the children learning one of his songs. What other Elton John songs can you introduce your children to at home? 🎶 💙

At the end of the first full week back we are so proud of our children in Early Years. They have enjoyed making friends, lots of play, learning new routines and getting into the swing of life at Lark Rise! Well done children 👏🏼💙
