With baseball coverage over for the 2024 season, my primary focus now switches to my 12th year of covering the high school beat at the Wright County Journal-Press. Seniors, you were in 1st grade when I started. Feeling and getting old. 😀

Anya Schmidt serves two aces for 17-3 lead and Buffalo timeout.

Anya Schmidt ends second set with her third ace of match. Rogers leads 2-0, 25-13, 25-10.

Bison with a little fight this third set, cut 8-3 deficit down to 12-8.

Autumn Halberg and Brianna Eggers putting up a nice wall in this third set. Buffalo has battle back from 17-11 deficit to close it to 19-17.
