*Result* Eden Valley Football Club Reserves 0-3 Langwathby United AFC 2-0 up at half time through a Harry Ewbank long shot on 20 minutes and a Si Brough tap in from a corner on 35 minutes. We managed the game really well second half and extended the lead. Lewis Whitton direct from a corner.

A second clean sheet in a row for us for the first time this season. And the victory tonight all but guarantees us 3rd place. Unbelievable how far we have come in 12 months. Full credit to everyone involved in the club, on and off the field.

Man of the Match tonight went to Homer. Solid and resolute performance for the entire 90 at the heart of the defence. Thank you to the referee for a great game. Another young un making their first steps in refereeing.

Last night the club celebrated the end of their season back in Westmorland Football League with an inter-squad friendly at Carlisle United. Our groundsman, ben welsh, pulled his strings at the club. Score finished 6-5 to the Under 21s. Thank you to everyone who made this happen.

Well, that’s a wrap! We run out 8-1 victors against a spirited Millhead FC Reserves in front of a bumper crowd. We ran harder than them for 90 minutes and finished our chances well. A solid display and commitment. Now for a break ahead of Blackpool on Saturday 🍻
