looking at some "safe" routes now that the Govan bridge is open, st's I do cycle at times but will be easier to access. Not sure of the "context" of the Gap van, looks like it's blocking the entrance to the protected counterflow and the usual protected cycle lane parking💩
Probably well documented Langlands road I think, I think I remember people predicting this level of parking on the unprotected (painted Lane) when first installed. Might need to get more familiar with the side roads as this definitely isn't a "safe" feeling route.
A we suggestion, if child get hit by a car you are driving hang about for the authorities to show up, leave your name whatever. There are to many appeals like this. 🙄

The Govan bridge, becoming a normal part of getting about. I can see the work site gradually getting smaller, with some landscaping(skate park) near the transport museum being finished as we speak, lights look installed(not on) which will make a big difference to the Partick side
Chap on a next bike heading onto the clydeside expressway, I made the dicision he probably could use some help to find a less deathy route. We both crossed under the expressway on the busy slalom shared path which while not ideal is the only safe feeling (official) option.
South street again, totally unnecessary to get this close, I actually moved slighly into the door zone as the driver approached as I could hear how close they where(not ideal), I think they would prefer that I ride there as standard😱 as usual some great passes from safe drivers
No words, I know they are kids but ffs, old enough to know this is to much. Slightly worried about their safety to, I I'd have had my hands free earlier I might not have had time to notice the reality of the situation. Travelling back from Govan.
