Last week our 4th grade students enjoyed their annual VA Symphony Orchestra field trip to CNU's Ferguson Center for the Arts. Thank you HCS for a wonderful musical experience!

🌍 This week we are celebrating Multicultural Week and all of Langley's diversity! Mrs. Crists' class enjoyed playing Shisima, a game from Kenya

🦋 Ms. M wrote a poem about our school and read the 'Langley' poem during LNN morning announcements. She also had fun with her Kindergarten class creating a poem for the poetry walk. She loves poetry and is excited about April poetry month! #langleyroars #poetrymonth2022

1st Grade had a blast this week on their field trip to the Virginia Living Museum! 🐾 #leopardsroar

3rd graders in Ms. Simpson’s class create polygons using pretzels for sides and marshmallows for vertices. We love hands-on learning, especially when it’s edible!

5th graders create models of plant and animal cells to show each of the cell parts with candy.

Today was Langley’s Multicultural Celebration! Students wore clothes representing their families’ cultures. In the photos students are representing Romania, Honduras, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Niger and Mexico! We love celebrating the cultures of our Langley families! #WeAreHCS
