UPDATE: Both Varsity and JV softball games will be played tonight at the turf fields behind the high school, with minor changes to the start times. Varsity at 4:15 and JV game 30 minutes after the varsity game finishes. Youth night activities rescheduled to May 5th. Thank you!

This weekend, two 12U teams, Team Lightning (Coach Jeremy Gwyn) and Team Bolts (Coach Jim Damm), joined forces at Overlook Park to clean up trash as part of the Manheim Township Earth Fest event! The boys hauled in about 3 bags of trash over 1.5 hours!

Manheim Township 14U1 Streaks improve to 4-1 behind an exceptional no-hitter performance by Derek DeBord. Derek racked up 5 strikeouts across 7 innings, facing the minimum 21 batters, only needing 52 pitches to accomplish the feat. The Streaks secured a 6-0 win over Solanco.

What a comeback! Our 14A softball team battled back from being down 8-1 in the 5th inning to win 13-8 in 7 innings. It was a full team effort fueled by big hits and lights-out pitching.

After a slow start to the day, 12U Team Lightning caught fire on Saturday. The team steamrolled the Mountville Yankees 18-3 en route to a 2nd place finish, dropping a hard-fought final to the Mountville Phillies. Congrats, Team Lightning!

Tough 10-7 loss last night for the 12U1 Streaks to Hempfield Black but our boys put up a good fight! They will be back at Kunkle Field tonight at 6 pm to take on E-town. Let's Go Streaks!

Comeback Kids! The 12U1 Streaks were down by 5 runs after the 4th but the boys made a tremendous comeback to take the win over E-town 10-9. The effort the boys put into the game was incredible to watch and we are so proud! Next game is Friday at Kunkle Field at 7, opponent TBD.
