So long New York. A flying visit to see The Notebook comes to an end. What a performance unreal show. Highly recommend and also recommend Connolly's for the day/night and the curry.

This week with performances of Irish athletes I’m taken back to the great Ronnie Long promoting their exploits from a young age. Mawdsley, Lavin, English et al. I’m sure he’s looking down with pride this week.

I’m lucky to have company in my return to full fitness. The road to recovery will be fun.

Twould be some night to have a few pints with Brendan McArdle and a bit of ABBA by the looks of it on the telly tonight.
