I lived in London c. 2013-2015 and went back in 2019 and experienced visible decline in just four short years. In my time in the uk (2009 - 2015) I saw it too, but not that rapidly. Can’t even imagine the cities now. Countryside never changed much

Hosted a giant birthday party for a 3yo with balloon animals, a bouncy house, and cotton candy. It’s 95 degrees out.

House was full to the brim with people who care about our daughter today and when they all left, it felt so empty. The grind can be relentless, but these are the days that make it worthwhile. Overwhelmed with gratitude. God is good.
