Picked up this Derbent city pin I randomly found in an oddity shop! Derbent, Dagestan is home to the oldest mosque in Russia (& CIS countries) built in 733. Only lost it's functionality temporarily in the 1930s. It held regular Jummah prayer in the Soviet Union starting in 1943
