Pre match thought…as the father of two daughters (not wrestlers btw) it was incredible to see the respect, admiration, and raw emotion shown to the female wrestlers by everyone here at state meet in its inaugural year. One of coolest things I’ve seen in my career.

Finally time to send a tweet… congrats to Eugene Harney on becoming Sycamore’s 2nd ever state champion in wrestling, and the first since 1999. Eugene is also the school’s first 3 time state placer. What an incredible junior season!
