The hostile working conditions behind the scenes of the music sector have long since been an 'open secret.’ For ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQ+ and disabled individuals navigating a career in music the impact of bullying and harassment is uniquely felt.

Supporting Black Lives in Music with their new survey to collect experiences of misogyny, racism and harassment in the music industry, please contribute and please share: blim.org.uk/onevoice/

BLiM will use the anonymous survey to collect real world data. This will inform legislation and the work of the new Creative Industries Independent Standards Authority (CIISA) and the wider music industry. Black Lives in Music

It will also be used to support BLiM’s forthcoming Anti Racist Code of Conduct and reporting tool, which will work towards eradicating discrimination, bullying and harassment throughout the music ecosystem. Black Lives in Music
