It was great catching up with Rosa Uribe Rosa Uribe, PhD Rice Natural Sciences, Jeff Gross and Ryan Gray @slewzeus. Rosa gave a great Molecular Biosciences seminar on Enteric Neural Crest Cell migration earlier today.



Our study showing that Hedgehog signaling is essential for maintaining the early foregut and larynx by preventing EMT was published: doi.org/10.7554/eLife.… eLife - the journal. This was led by recent UTexasILS graduate Janani Ramachandran with help from Hongkai Ji Hongkai Ji and Aaron Zorn.



This image taken by Dr. Madhulika Pathak Carnegie Embryology shows Sox9 and Twist embryonic gene expression. It was imaged on a Nikon AXR confocal and modeled with Imaris software.
