I was invited to present at a large conference in Germany. Due to another commitment, I asked if a group member can present the project he led at Slavov Laboratory. We were removed from the schedule without a notice. Initially, I thought this was a mistake, but I was told ... 🧵

"We are in a paradoxical situation where the world needs ever more expertise from ETH, but research and education are falling down the priority list in day-to-day politics at the same time", says Joël Mesot. brnw.ch/21wNs7s

As we prepare for SRP 2025, we have some beautiful news to share with our community. Alice Goodman, our program's coordinator and its' beating heart, has received EPFL's Outstanding Commitment Award in recognition of nearly 2 decades of dedicated service to the SRP. EPFL Life Sciences

We recently held the final conference of the MPI-EPFL center for molecular nanoscience & technology, with superinsipiring talks. A big thanks to K. Kern and T. Rizzo for their leadership through the years! Also big thanks LingenfelderLAB🕊 and K. Kuhnke for their decisive roles!

At S3IC 2024, Paris this year presenting ongoing work. Radenovic Lab is well represented by Helena Miljkovic (speaking on SICS sensing of aptamers) and @NRonceray (lifetime imaging) and Aleksandra on gating of biopores. Come say hi if you are around!

Congratulations to EPFL professors Andras Kis, Edoardo Charbon & Tobias Kippenberg - each contributors to one of the 57 projects that have received funding from European Research Council (ERC) "to tackle major scientific challenges"! #ERCSyG actu.epfl.ch/news/three-sti…

Honoured to be awarded the SNSF Starting Grant!🎉 Congratulations to my colleagues who also received the award Mackenzie Mathis, PhD Camille Goemans Philippe Schwaller (he/him)
