…on to Wollaton Park for the Community Festival where I caught up with local councillors Saj Ahmad, Zafran Khan 🇬🇧 and Steve Battlemuch in the magnificent walled garden, transformed by local volunteers. The new sensory garden is looking great.

Useful doorstep surgery/canvass session tonight in the ward - Eton Grove, Wollaton Rd slip rd, Ancaster & part of Harrow Rd. Good feedback for the local Cllrs on Lime Bikes, the parking scheme, overhanging trees and some national issues too. We will continue to listen & act.

Been out with 🏹 My Nottingham housing colleagues having a look at the housing stock in Wollaton & the local park which is need of some TLC! We will keep pushing to get this park upgraded.

The neighbourhood policing team will be in Wollaton Park on, Saturday 9 Aug 930-1130. They will be security marking bikes with QR codes that are registered to the cycle owner. The service is free! They will be in the bottom car park. Bring your bike along! 🚲

Appreciate this might be a dry subject for most people but we have the chance to change our council structures to better reflect our communities & save some money by cutting out duplication. We need an option where the existing city is expanded. I urge people to say this below 👇

Best day of the year in my councillor diary. Today, we had the privilege of awarding medals to all the kids who completed the Summer Reading Challenge. Over 700 books read by young people in Wollaton! 📚 The kids were especially excited to meet the Sheriff of Nottingham. 🏹
