Ekitike’s touch and link up looks better than any player we’ve had since arguably Bobby but it won’t get mentioned

Balance isn’t the issue it’s lack of discipline. Midfield and attack lose the ball far too easily and let’s be honest, can’t press for shit it’s a massive concern. Our defense is under immediate pressure as soon as we lose the ball (which is often)

This “waiting for encouragement” shit is going to make us lose out on Isak. If you want the player just go get him. Put in your offers. Have conversations. They’re obviously willing to sell.

There’s an element here of us being the buying club and making Isak’s time worthwhile here. He’s essentially rejected his own club to force this move. Least we could do is act serious in our attempt to sign him.

Real chance Isak ends up at Fenerbahce or Al-Nassr on loan for a year here if Liverpool don’t start pushing this deal through

I see Mac Allister has made it into his 3rd season at LFC. Congrats Macca, the virgins in the fanbase are bored with you now and want more transfers at your expense since it’s been just a bit too long since we’ve bought a player in your position

It’s very obvious to me what’s happened with this Isak situation. Newcastle knew he wanted to leave and they were prepared for it but when the team it emerged he wanted was Liverpool, they just couldn’t bear to accept it was them and have turned the situation into a nightmare

8.8k likes. The “before Klopp” pic was in fact after Klopp since Klopp came before the main stand was redeveloped

The Newcastle situation also shows just one other reason why states shouldn't be allowed own clubs - beyond the more serious reasons A club is subject to a state's changing geopolitical strategy independent.co.uk/sport/football…

Nobody anywhere has a father (who’s not from Alabama) telling their kids to leave a NYC job and life for Alabama

Plenty of clubs out there on a similar level to Newcastle more than happy to include buy-out/release clauses in contracts to get a few years of service from an up and coming talent and then cash in. Prospective signings Newcastle are after will take note of this Isak situation
