NEWS FLASH: Govt backtracking on sewage monitors. Govt has quietly announced that WCs will not be required to install monitors on sewage overflows which dump less than 10 times a year over a 5-year average. And who does the counting? Yep, the WC. gov.uk/government/con…

Here's the issue. In just two days Thames Water 💧 dumped over 2 billion litres of sewage into the Thames at Modgen. Would that be 1 dump or 2? Would that now even need to be counted, it's less than 10 times per year? How will you ever know TW does the counting. Shambles!
