Lyon Co is the KHSAA Boys Basketball State Champions!

They have defeated Harlan Co 67-58 tonight at Rupp Arena in from of a crowd of 13,568.

Travis Perry leads the Lyons with 27 points, Reddick with 16, and Shoulders with 15. Harlan Co led by Huff with 22 and Noah with 17.

Lyon Co led by as many as 14 in the 1st half, but Harlan Co has chipped away at that lead and now it’s just a 6 point game at half.

It all comes down to this! The KHSAA Boys Basketball State Championship is coming up!

From the 13th Region, Harlan Co with a record of 34-4 will face Lyon Co, from the 2nd Region, coming in with a record of 35-3.

Tonight will be just the 4th ever matchup of “County” schools in the KHSAA Boys’ Sweet 16 state championship game:

- 2024: Harlan County vs. Lyon County
- 2011: Christian County vs. Rowan County
- 1984: Bourbon County vs. Logan County
- 1976: Christian County vs. Edmonson County

Final in the semifinals! Lyon Co takes down Great Crossing to advance to the finals tonight!

Great Crossing had a great season, and played a great 1st half, but was not able to hit enough shots down the stretch to come back against the Lyons!
