A couple of golden, stolen hours cycling along the Adriatic coast.

I’m grateful for the ways parenthood has transformed me. The way it has forced me to slow down my life and truly appreciate all the things I once took for granted.

Ciao amici! We are in Italy! We have traveled to Carmine’s hometown with Asher for three weeks so that he can have the opportunity to meet and spend time with his Nonna for the first time.

So much fun to start to share news on my new album, which Kai Welch & I will be wrapping up in the next few weeks.

I’ve had the great honor of working with some amazing guitarists on each of my albums - this one is so exception. Anthony da Costa added so much to the project.

Can we talk about what a beautiful thing it is when talent and kindness intersect? This is my fabulous producer Kai Welch in his own ‘Peach Tree Studios’ where ‘The Last Bough’ was born.

This little button is 1.5 years old! My how the time doth fly.

Three weeks ago Carmine, Asher and I flew down to Nashville where I recorded a new album.

I couldn’t be happier with how it’s unfolding, and couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of you who made it possible.

Living slowly and mindfully, and feeling so grateful to live in a safe part of the world at the start of the holiday season.

Deep in mourning for all the innocent victims of the Israel-Hamas war. I see them in my son, and I see my son in each. I do believe that when you become a mother to one–you feel as though you could be a mother to all.

May love, humanity, solace and comfort find them.

So looking forward to performing in beautiful Gloucester, MA this weekend–one of my adopted hometowns, as part of their 400 Celebration. 💕
